The winter season lasts from the beginning of December to the middle of April
Only 2 km away from the Pension Burglick: Plan de Corones (2.275 m) – 360° panoramic view, the mountain with 32 different ski lifts, 105 km of magnificient slopes and 40 mountain huts
Here you can practise all kind of winter sports, having available modern lifts and perfectly maintained slopes. Thanks to the new train of Plan de Corones (gondolas) and the enlarged and renewed valley station your skiing pleasure at the Plan de Corones got even better now. No more crowds at the parking lot or waiting lines at the lifts! To mention is also the well equipped ski hire at the valley station. The excellent service, the big offer of latest models, and the extensive programme for children with qualified staff guarantee happy kids and relaxed parents.
Croniworld for kids:
“Croni Express” – kiddie’s paradise: fun in Cronido for small kids or in Croniworld for bigger ones. Furthermore you will find a babysitting service with qualified nannies (10.00 – 16.00 o’clock), so that the parents will be able to do some skiing on their own.
Other winter activities outside the pistes include ski touring, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, sledge rides and many other fun activities.

Experience the world and the magic atmosphere of a night hike through woods and snow-capped meadows.
Night hike through the snowy woods of Pfalzen. You will reach the Moarleitnerhof, after Lothen/St. Lorenzen, where you can enjoy mulled wine or tea, sitting in front of an open fireplace.

‘Sella Ronda’ – skiing in the dreamlike background of the Ladin valleys
Already in those days, when there were only poor roads and no lifts, the Sella Group could be covered on skis. Since then, the name of the Sella Ronda route, connecting the inhabitants of the surrounding Dolomite areas over four passes, has been in Ladin (the language spoken here). Yet today this name describes the circuit around the Sella Massif. This is a unique ski carousel amidst an extraordinary group of woods, rocky mountain peaks and snowy landscape with well-connected lifts and downhill runs.

Bus Service to the Cross-Country Skiing Areas
Every Wednesday from 28.12.11 to 14.03.12
we take cross-country skiers and winter hikers to a renowned cross-country skiing area with skiing guide.
Price: € 9.00 (journey, trail fee, skiing guide).
Information and booking before Tuesday 5 PM at the Tourist Information Office.
Departure: Tourist Information Office 9:10 AM. Return at 3 PM

‘On the Trail of World War I’
The location route leads through what used to be the Dolomites frontline, around the Col di Lana, the ‘bloody mountain’, which represents World War I. You pass by frontlines, tunnels and embrasures, built by Austro-Hungarian, German and Italian soldiers to defy the enemy in World War I and to survive in the high mountains. Passing through the most wonderful Dolomite landscapes, among the Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofana, Lagazuoi, Conturines, Settsas mountains and, for the untiring, the Gran Risa downhill run.
Guided ski tour with bus service, skiing guide, ski bus, and horse-drawn sleigh from Capanna Alpina to Armentarola.

NEW SERVICE “HOTEL SKIPASS SERVICE”
In order to make the purchase of the skipass easier and more convenient, from this winter season 2010/11 Dolomiti Superski offers a new service called “HOTEL SKIPASS SERVICE”. The customer can purchase the skipass for adults (except skipasses for juniors and seniors, free skipasses for children up to 8 years as well as 12 days in season and season skipasses), Dolomiti Superski or of each single ski area, on the following website: www.dolomitisuperski.com. Once the customer has bought the skipass by credit card, a code is sent to the booked accommodation. The host will collect the ski pass from the point of sell and deliver it to the customer at the hotel upon arrival, thus saving the guest an extra trip to the sales office. The hotels that provide this service will be marked with a small icon on the Dolomiti Superski website.
HOW THE SERVICE WORKS
The customer can purchase the adult skipass only (from 1 – 14 days, Dolomiti Superski or one single ski area, and point cards) by credit card on the website www.dolomitisuperski.com under the menu item SKIPASS without any additional cost. Purchases may be made up to 48 hours prior to arrival in the booked hotel. In the booking form the customer indicates the establishment which is signed up to the initiative and which then will get a voucher containing a barcode. The host can pick up the skipasses at a skipass office by presenting the voucher, and hand them over the customer on arrival.
